I’m not sure you’re ready for our latest trailer.

If you think you’ve seen edgy, daring, and controversial–think again. K-11 is the directorial debut for Jules Stewart, mother of Kristen Stewart, and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

Starring Goran Visnjic, Kate del Castillo, and DB Sweeney, this film is a fictional account about a group of people who are locked up in a very real place. K-11 is a wing of the Los Angeles jail system that houses gay and transgender prisoners, and this film tells the story of what happens when a man wakes up to find himself trapped in K-11–without any clue how he wound up there.

The trailer has been getting a lot of press lately, ever since its debut in Cannes:
